Description: Ever wondered what it’s like to breathe underwater?Though not a certification course, Discover Scuba Diving will let you try it to see if you like it! You’ll learn how to use scuba gear in shallow water and get a quick and easy introduction to what it takes to explore the underwater world.

| PADI OPEN WATER |
Program Objectives:
This course will encompass the practical skills needed to become
certified as a “PADI OPEN WATER DIVER". PADI (Professional
Association of Diving Instructors) is the most widely recognized and
respected rating in the world. With this certification, you will
have the freedom to dive with a buddy independent of a professional.

Sessions: Classes will form as
participation requires. Groups of 4 or more can schedule a class.
Where: Lap Pool
Description: Become certified as a PADI
Open Water Diver through practical skills, written exams and an open
water dive.
Participants must be at least 14 years of age, able to swim 200
yards continuously or 300 yards with mask, fins and snorkel and
tread water for 10 minutes.
Policies: Scuba Booty's are not
provided, participants may want to purchase their own. Participant
must be able to provide own transportation to open water dives.
Instructor: Taught by Rick Haines,
certified PADI Open Water SCUBA Instructor.
