NUTRITION & WELLNESS

At the YMCA we promote healthy diets along with exercise to maintain fitness and energy. Going to the supermarket to buy healthy foods can be a stressful situation if you don't know what you are looking for. You are bombarded by advertisements and health claims on millions of products. Additionally, simply buying healthy foods won't benefit you if they aren't palatable to eat. The following courses are designed to help you make good decisions about what you eat and teach you how to implement healthy foods in your diet.
