SPORTS PROGRAMS

YOUTH SOCCER

Ages: 4 - 18 years
Description: YMCA soccer will develop basic soccer skills while providing an environment that promotes caring, honesty, respect and responsibility.
Registration: July 1^st - 31^st Download Registration Form!
Uniform Sizing July 10^th & 11^th, Noon - 4:00 pm
Coach's meeting August 6^th, 6:00 pm
Play: Begins Saturday, August 28^th

REC Soccer (U5, U6, U8, & U10)	Fees
U5, U6, U8, & U10 are non-traveling co-ed teams. All games are played at YMCA’s Keller soccer complex, beginning Saturday, Aug. 28^th.	Facility Members/$55 1^st player, 2^nd player $45 (every player thereafter $35 each)
	Program Members/$70 1^st player, 2^nd player $60 (every player thereafter $50 each)
	Fees include reversible jersey, socks & team participation award.

REC PLUS Soccer (U12 - U15)	Fees
U12-U15 will be playing in travel leagues against clubs in Southern Indiana and the greater Louisville area. Games may be played on Saturdays and Sundays. Teams may be co-ed depending on the registered numbers of players	Facility Members/$60, 2^nd player $50 (every player thereafter $40 each)
	Program Members/$75, 2^nd player $65, (every player thereafter $55 each)
	Fees include reversible jersey, socks & IYSA league fees.

Challenger Sports British Soccer
Description: Challenger Sports is the #1 soccer camp provider in the United States, Canada and Australia. This year, over 800 of our British soccer coaches will mentor more than 150,000 boys and girls on some 2,000 camps and clinics. Little Kicks Tae Kwon Do
Description: Little Kicks introduces children to the fundamental principles and discipline of martial arts. Class instruction will cover the basic skills of blocks, kicks and jabs as well as other self-defense techniques. In addition to martial arts, Little Kicks will teach character development and the core values of the YMCA: caring, honesty, respect and responsibility. Description: Designed to increase cardio-respiratory fitness, reduce stress, improve flexibility and develop the mind, body and spirit. Classes are focused on the individual needs of each student, with a “let’s-do-it-together” philosophy. Where: Limeberry & Heritage Rooms Instructor: Grand Master Blair 7th degree black belt		Ages: 7 to Adult Sessions: Ongoing, new sessions begin each month.

Fees: Facility Members/$32 month; $10 each additional family member; $50 family cap Program Members/$56 month; $30 each additional family member

Women's Self Defense
Description: This introduction to self-defense and awareness is a two-hour course that examines potential dangers women face in everyday life. Emphasis is placed on trying to avoid these types of situations, as well as how to handle oneself should the need arise. Finally, a very basic review of self-defense techniques is practiced to assist in escaping dangerous environments. ARCHERY CLINICS
Ages: 8 to 11 Description: Get excited about archery! Classes may be separated by age groups. Equipment will be provided. Space is limited. Instructor: Ruben Lewis, who is an avid archer and outdoorsman, will share skills and techniques with students.

Home School P.E.
The goal of this program is to expose home schooled students to a quality Physical Education component with a variety of planned activities as well as team and individual sports. Activities may include: basketball, soccer, flag football, swimming, floor hockey, kickball, hiking, tennis, tumbling, flag-tag, scooter races, and more...
