About
Cycling:
Contrary to what you
may think or see,
cycling is not as
hard as it may look.
Yes it can be quite
vigorous, cycling is
one of the highest
calorie burning
aerobic classes
available but
participants are
encouraged to go at
their own pace.
Not only will you
increase calorie
expenditure, you
will increase your
breathing capacity
and muscular
strength in your
legs. Cycling
is open everyone of
various fitness
levels. Make
sure to bring plenty
of drinking water
with you.
Heart rate monitors
are also recommended
for the class.

The YMCA is
dedicated to
developing
not just the
mind and
body, but
also the
spirit. This
class offers
more than
just
physical and
mental
strength and
endurance.
In a world
filled with
spiritual
burnout and
stress, it
will help
you find the
edge you
need to stay
strong.
Come and
improve your
overall
cardio
endurance
and muscular
strength
while
sharpening
your spirit
at the same
time. The
Bible says,
“As iron
sharpens
iron so one
man sharpens
another.”
Each class
will start
with a short
devotion.
We will also
incorporate
Christian
music to
help us
tackle hill
climbs and
sprints.
The way to
lose weight
and burn fat
is through
cardio, and
the way to
stay
consistent,
is by
targeting
the spirit
and
body. Come
and join us
for this fun
Christ-centered
class.
