Family Open Swim

The YMCA of Harrison County is proud to extend usage of our Therapy Pool to our Family members. 

Please check our Therapy Pool Schedule for “Family Open Swim” days and times.

We will have additional rules for this time to ensure the safety of all participants.  

·       At the “Family Open Swim” times parents may bring children into the Therapy Pool.

·       At Family Open Swim time, there is no age requirement of the participant. 

·       The only jumping allowed in the pool is to the arms of their parents. 

·       No swimming in the ramp area.

·       No swimming between the rails and the ramp.

·       No throwing toys.

·       No water aerobic equipment is allowed out during this time.

·       Lifeguard must enforce maximum number of participants in the allowed in the pool.  (Maximum number is 24).

Parents, please help the lifeguard on duty strictly enforce the safety rules with your child.  Adding additional times and/or changing rules will be dependent on the performance of all participants.
