Water Polo is a rapidly growing sport in the United States and is an exciting game to play as well as watch.  Water Polo is similar to basketball or hockey and takes an individual with good swimming ability and endurance. The YMCA will be running an internal co-ed league of men and women playing 5 on 5. The games will consist of four 6-minute quarters with a 35 second shot clock. Referees will control the games. Participants will wear protective head gear during practice and competition games. Teams will be formed by a draft. Individuals will register to play and then be placed on a specific team. Practice lanes for the teams will be set up for evening practice.  Games will be on Saturdays starting at 4 p.m.  Register at front desk.  Registration deadline will be August 29th.  Teams will be notified September 3rd.
