Aqua Classes

All Aqua Classes are free for our members!

 

We have classes in both the Therapy and Lap Pool.

 

Deep Water Jogging:

Tuesday and Thursday 5:10 am-5:55 am

Moderate Intensity, in the Lap Pool; with Lisa

This is a moderate intensity class in the deep end of the Lap Pool. A water-jogging class for individuals who want to build their running endurance without the strain of gravity. Float belts and related equipment are provided. Joggers must be comfortable with deep water.


Fun and Fit:

Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday 9:30 am-10:15 am

High Intensity, in the Lap Pool; with Faith

This is a high intensity, low impact class using the deep water in the Lap Pool for a great workout. Participants' will use float belts, noodles, water weights, and other equipment during class and should be comfortable with deep water.


Total Body:

Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday 10:30 am-11:15 am

Low Intensity, in the Lap Pool; with Faith

This is a low intensity class in shallow water that focuses on gentle stretching, improving flexibility and finishes with quiet relaxation. 


Aqua Exercise:

Low Intensity, in the Therapy Pool; with Mary Joe

This is a low-impact, moderate-paced aerobics class that will get your heart pumping and muscles warmed up and stretched. This upbeat class with strengthen the muscles and core for better balance and stability.

Low Intensity, in the Therapy Pool; Mary Joe

A warm-water, low-impact exercise class for those with physical limitations for arthritis. The program is a slower paced aerobic workout with emphasis on controlled movement, improving strength, flexibility, and endurance.
